Screen printing on glass

Screen printing on glass is a printing technique that we use in our workshop in France (Orvault), guaranteeing high-quality marking and a durable finish. Thanks to high-temperature baking, the ink fuses with the glass for optimum resistance to washing, even in a professional dishwasher.

Ideal for personalising wine glasses, champagne flutes or beer glasses, this method gives a precise and elegant finish. Add character to your glasses with long-lasting, refined personalisation, suitable for both events and professionals wishing to highlight their brand.

The stages involved in screen-printing your own glass

  • Screen printing frame creation
The first step is to prepare the screen printing frame, which serves as a stencil for applying the ink. Your visual is printed on a fine mesh screen, ensuring faithful reproduction of detail and a clear, durable print on the glass.
  • Applying ink to glass
An ink specially designed for glass is deposited using the screen printing frame, ensuring even, precise application. This method produces a mark that is resistant to rubbing, liquids and repeated washing, while retaining an elegant finish.
  • Drying and inspection
Once the ink has been applied, it is fixed to the glass using a UV lamp. This process ensures perfect adhesion and longevity. Each piece of glass is then meticulously inspected to ensure that the result is impeccable and in line with quality standards.
